Tata Curvv: A Much Clearer Look At Its Interior Ahead Of Its Unveiling

Tata Motors and Castrol India Limited have a signed a new Strategic Partnership Agreement under which both the companies will be seen working collectively on the former’s passenger vehicle division. Castrol, being one of the leading suppliers of lubricants, has been approved by the passenger vehicle division of Tata Motors for supplying its entire product range of lubricants including engine oils, gear oils, transmission fluids and ancillary products.
Both the companies share a long relationship of more than three decades with involvement in several projects to co-engineer dedicated products to better suit the requirements of Tata’s vehicle range, including the recently launched Tiago.
Commenting on the agreement, Mayank Pareek, president, passenger vehicle business, Tata Motors, said: “Castrol has been a trusted partner with Tata Motors over the last several years. Our companies share similar values and are focused on delivering the best product quality and services and delightful customer experiences. We are glad to extend our partnership with Castrol and look forward to working closely with them to leverage the exciting growth opportunities in the passenger vehicle market.”
Currently, under the ongoing partnership, Castrol provides Tata Motors with some high-performance engine oils such as the Castrol GTX Professional Diesel, the Castrol MAGNATEC Professional T5W30 and the Castrol EDGE 0W40.
Castrol currently has a strong distribution network, with over one lakh retail outlets in the country. With such a well spread network, Tata Motors workshops and retail customers benefit from easy access to the company’s complete range of lubricants. Subsequently, both the companies have also been closely working together on improving safety and skill development in franchised Tata Motor workshops. Also, special efforts have been put in collectively by organising joint campaigns and promotional activities in workshops to increase customer walk-ins.
