The new application allows customers to virtually visit their nearest dealership.
Details on any model can be discussed via video call as well as screen, video, and document sharing.
Multiple relatives or friends can be added to the call through the app.
Kia has launched a safer alternative to visiting dealerships with an online platform that offers virtual consultations through live video conferencing.
Dubbed the Kia Digi-Connect, this platform eliminates the need to visit dealerships to get a detailed look at any model, especially during the ongoing pandemic. The idea is to give customers an all-around virtual experience, covering every aspect of a dealership visit.
Customers can also attend live consultations with their nearest dealerships through video conferencing. The platform can be used to share videos and other documents, including brochures, for any details you may need about the car. You also get the option of adding family members and friends to the call.
Speaking on the launch of this new app, Tae-Jin Park, Executive Director and Chief Sales and Business Strategy Officer, Kia India, said “The Kia Digi-Connect initiative signifies Kia India’s bold and innovative approach towards offering a matchless premium customer experience, aligned with our new brand purpose - ‘Movement that inspires’. With this industry-first initiative, we have taken a step forward in transforming the purchase journey of our customers to a seamless, digital one. Technology-led digital transformation has been the primary approach for Kia India right at the outset and we are committed to spearheading the digital revolution in the Indian automotive industry going forward. We are confident that such digital innovations will offer great customer delight at every step of their car buying journey and make Kia India an aspirational and lovable brand in the country.”
In other news, Kia has offered an extension of two months on services and warranties that expire during the lockdown period. The Korean carmaker recently launched the updated Seltos. It also offers a return policy on the Carnival, wherein you can return the MPV within 30 days if you’re not satisfied.
