Jeep Compass Gets A Massive Rs 1.75 Lakh Discount!

• The heaviest discounts are reserved for the base and mid-spec diesel models.
• Diesel variants, including the base model, get cash benefits of 1.75 lakh.
• The Petrol variants too are available with discounts of up to Rs 1.53 lakh.
• No discounts on the top-spec variants, though.

The festive season is on now, and carmakers just got a massive tax cut from the Finance Ministry. Even though this time of the year is known for lower prices and good deals on new cars, this year is different. To generate demand for the Compass, Jeep is offering massive discounts of up to Rs 1.75 lakh.   

Diesel variants get the larger share of discounts, with even the base Sport and Sport Plus variants of the  Compass getting cash discounts of Rs 1.75 lakh and Rs 1.25 lakh respectively. The Longitude and Longitude Option variants, which are equipped with a larger touchscreen infotainment and projector headlamps, can be had with a discount of Rs 1.55 lakh. This discount is applicable on the Limited variant as well. An exchange bonus and a cash discount amounting to a total of Rs 1.75 lakh are being offered on the Limited Option variant.  

Prices for diesel models 

Petrol variants get some benefits as well, with the Compass Sport being offered with a discount of Rs 86,000. The Sport Plus MT trim gets a bit less, at Rs 75,000 off. Longitude Option, as well as the Limited variants equipped with the dual-clutch automatic gearbox, can be had for Rs 1.25 lakh less. If you wish to buy the Limited Option Jeep Compass, you can avail benefits worth Rs 1.53 lakh.  

The Jeep Compass is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine. While the BS4 motor makes 170PS of power and 350Nm of torque, the Tailhawk variant with the BS6 engine produces 175PS and 350Nm. The Trailhawk even gets a 9-speed automatic transmission, which is expected to trickle down to the lower variants soon. Sadly, the top-spec Trailhawk version does not get any discounts this October.
