The good-old Santro Xing is now offered in a special edition avatar with additional frills
It’s been 15 years since Hyundai launched that smash hit of a small car called the Santro in India and to mark the occasion, the Korean car maker has introduced a special edition variant called the Santro Xing Celebration Edition. The variant is offered in petrol, LPG and CNG options and three new colours: Coral White, Sleek Silver and Mushroom. The catch, however, is that it’s available only in the GL Plus model.
The Santro Xing Celebration Edition sports additional frills such as body graphics, rear chrome garnishing and parking sensors with LED display. Inside, there’s a new rmanual rear curtain, floor mats, and a Blaupunkt stereo system.
The special edition model is priced at Rs 3,81,286 (ex-showroom, Delhi), which is around Rs 9,000 more than the GL Plus petrol variant. The company is also luring customers with a low interest rate of 7.44 per cent for those seeking finance.
