Hyundai has unveiled a sportier version of the Creta, called the Creta Sport. The Hyundai Creta Sport is based on the Hyundai Creta facelift which was showcased at the 2017 Chengdu Auto Show after being launched in Brazil in December 2016.
On the exterior, the grill and the lower bumper are now finished in gloss black. It also gets black wing mirrors with redesigned 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels. At the rear, the Creta Sport gets a new spoiler and skid plate, again finished in gloss black. The roof rails and the shark fin antenna also get the gloss black finish, adding to its sporty character.

In sync with the gloss black finish, it gets all-black interiors as well. It also gets new, black leather and fabric seats with blacked out headliners. The Hyundai Creta Sport also gets a 7-inch infotainment system which comes with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Under the hood, the Creta Sport will share the engines with the standard Brazil-spec Creta. It will be offered with 1.6-petrol and 2.0-litre petrol engines producing 130PS/160Nm and 166PS/200Nm respectively and will be mated to a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

The Creta Sport is expected go on sale in Brazil in November 2017. As of now, there is no announcement on its future in India, but if at all, it does arrive at our shores, it can be a good seller for Hyundai, considering its robust looks and our fixation with such SUVs.
