The announcement about the hike was made by the Chennai-based automaker during the launch of its Elantra sedan on Tuesday and also stated -  “Good monsoons this year are set to help drive more sales in this festive season.” The last increase in production of the Creta was done in April which was close to 13,000 units. However, the booking period of the car still remains between one to two months.
