Honda Jazz Privilege Edition Launched At Rs 7.36 Lakh

The Privilege Edition is based on the V trim and adds extra goodies for a modest premium of just Rs 5,000

Honda Jazz Privilege Edition

To boost the sales of its premium hatchback, Honda has launched the Jazz Privilege Edition at a starting price of Rs 7.36 lakh. The Privilege Edtion is based on the V trim and is available at the following ex-showroom prices:

- Jazz Petrol Manual: Rs 7.36 lakh

- Jazz Petrol CVT: Rs 8.42 lakh

- Jazz Diesel Manual: Rs 8.82 lakh

The price tag is only Rs 5,000 more than the comparable V variants while the extra features are clearly worth more than the premium. The additional features of the Privilege Edition include:

- Digipad 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system

- Honda Connect

- Beige seat covers

- Premium floor mats

- Rear parking sensors

- Privilege Edition badge on the boot lid

The infotainment system is the same unit that's also available in the Honda City and the Honda WR-V, and it offers additional features such as:

- Satellite navigation

- MirrorLink to project compatible Android smartphone's screen

- Internet browsing and live traffic updates using optional WiFi receiver

- Voice commands for navigation and calling

- Bluetooth connectivity for music streaming and hands-free calling

- Two USB ports

- Two MicroSD card slots

- One HDMI port

- One 3.5mm auxiliary port

Honda Jazz Privilege Edition

The addition of Honda Connect telematics allows owners to share their location with friends and family using the one-click SOS feature. Other smart features of the Honda Connect include document wallet, fuel log, fuel economy figures, PUC renewal reminder, car's health score, service reminder and automatic call connect to Honda's service centre in case of an impact or collision.

The V variant of the Jazz is otherwise loaded with features like dual airbags, ABS, a touch panel for climate control, alloy wheels, reversing camera, advanced MID, power adjustable and folding outside mirrors. The CVT-equipped variant also gets steering-mounted paddle shifters to switch between various virtual ratios of the transmission.
