Its glad tidings for prospective KTM and Kawasaki owners as both the companies have announced a price cut in their respective product portfolio. This reduction in pricing has come into effect after Finance Minister, P Chidambaram recently announced reduction in excise duty in the Interim Budget 2014. The excise duty has been slashed from the previous 12 per cent to current eight percent and is applicable on small car, motorcycles, scooter and commercial vehicles.
This cutback on duty will be effective only till June 30, 2014.
