Royal Enfield recently launched the new updated Guerrilla 450, and it gets a new, Apex variant. It’s priced from Rs 2,49,194. Here are its top 5 highlights:

Guerrilla 450 Apex gets a removable pillion seat cover and a cowl on top of the headlight. These design changes give the bike a sportier look.

The Apex has slightly committed ergonomics since the new aluminium handlebar is positioned lower and further away from the rider, as compared to the standard bike. Royal Enfield claims this will give the bike more precise handling and improved cornering ability.

To further enhance the bike’s handling, Apex variant has road-focussed Vredestein Centauro ST tyres. It has 120 section front tyre and 160 section rear tyre. while the standard variant gets CEAT Gripp XL RE tyres.

The Guerrilla 450 Apex (as well as the standard) gets an updated Android app for the TFT display. The update allows riders to lock their phones and switch off the display while mirroring Google Maps. This should prevent excessive (phone) battery drain. There’s also improved re-connection that seamlessly resumes navigation after connectivity interruptions.
