KTM has unveiled 3 upcoming bikes in their 390 lineup and it includes the KTM 390 Adventure R, the KTM 390 Enduro and the KTM 390 SMC. The KTM 390 Adventure R is set to be launched in India by the end of this year or the beginning of 2025. Here’s everything you need to know.
The KTM 390 Adventure R is the 3rd-gen 390 Adventure offering from the Austrian manufacturer. It features a rally-bike inspired design, with a vertically stacked twin-projector LED headlight, and dakar-style bodywork. The bike overall looks pretty good and the change in design makes it feel like a substantial upgrade over the current KTM 390 Adventure.

In terms of power and performance, the KTM 390 Adventure will get the same 399cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine as the KTM 390 Duke. The engine outputs 46PS at 8,500rpm and 39Nm at 6,500rpm. We expect the brand to make a few changes for the 390 Adventure such as the addition of a larger rear sprocket which would give it more bottom end torque.

Features wise, the bike gets the same TFT console as the KTM 390 Duke and offers electronic riding aids such as traction control, switchable ABS, cornering ABS and cruise control.
The KTM 390 Enduro is an enduro-style bike and features a design we have come to associate with that genre. The bike features a large beak-like fender and a small headlight section. It gets a slim and sleek profile overall with a sharp tank design.

Similar to the 390 Adventure, we expect the bike to get the same engine as the 390 Duke, but with a few changes such as the addition of a larger rear sprocket to offer more bottom end torque. In an exclusive story, we had revealed some interesting spy shots of the bike which had given us a good idea of what to expect from this upcoming bike.

The bike is expected to be launched in India next year after the 2024 KTM 390 Adventure. We expect it to be priced around Rs 3.60 (ex-showroom).
The KTM 390 SMC is an upcoming supermoto offering from the brand, and it features the same design as the KTM 390 Enduro. But the brand has made a few changes such as the addition of smaller wheels. The bike looks pretty good and KTM has managed to get the supermoto design and styling right.

It will feature the same 399cc engine as the KTM 390 Duke, but with a few changes including a different tune.
Features wise, we expect it to offer a lot of the same electronic riding aids as the KTM 390 Duke such as launch control, traction control, riding modes, switchable ABS at the rear.

That said, the bike is unlikely to be launched in India and KTM will mostly offer it in the international markets only . Supermoto bikes are not as famous in India as they are abroad, so it is unlikely to come to India.
