Will Renault Triber get 1 litre turbo charge engine or 1.2 litre engine?

We need it man, but its not coming anytime soon. When they first launched itself, they should have done it. You see car manufacturers treat India very badly its so sad. Outside India, this engine already exists and it does a great job (compared to now) with 95ps and 160Nm. Renault doesn't seem to bother more power. To compromise on price. But a 50k more for Turbo at 5.5 ex showroom Triber RXE will do it great deal of good. Because then it becomes almost impossible to ignore. Renault please get more customer feedback and respond to them, like OnePlus does with mobiles. Could be phenomenal

That was the expectation prior to April 2020. But Renault chose to sell the same engine with some emission fixes added. This is mainly because the existing owners couldn't overcome their 'choice supportive bias'! Majority of them PRETEND to be happy with the poor performance of 1L c R a p p y engine!!!

If renault launched 1.2 lit engine in triber then high rate of sale will diverted towards triber. other wise not because in other hand maruti ertiga has 7 seat and 1.3 lit engine.

It's a dumb strategy on the part of Renault not to have a 1.2 litre naturally aspirated engine for a vehicle of the size of Triber. Renault should seriously consider borrowing such an engine from Fiat, Tata or Citroen if they can't produce one themselves !
