Very much confused between Hyundai Verna AT and Skoda Rapid AT(both diesel). Comparing both top end models but to no avail! Please note that we have already used the Rapid 1st gen diesel and than bought 2nd gen(MT) by exchanging the 1st gen in 2016. Its just that the Rapid is so tried an tested and we know how strong the built quality is. We are considering the Verna because it has so many segment 1st features. The Rapid is now kind of so monotonous to us now.

Verna has a very good build ( sheet metal ) quality, though not in the league of European competitors. Styling , Interior quality, overall fit & finish, refinement, fuel efficiency, engine performance are the segment benchmark and last but not the least Hyundai's widespread reach is a complete peace of mind. Hands down is the best product in the C segment.

You go for a verna because verna's automatic diesel is also very smooth and easy for drive. And in verna you also have new experience....

Rapid has more maintenance cost in comparison to Verna and parts are not that easily available for Skoda variant.
