    In order to improve the mileage, we would suggest you drive slower. Driving fast can reduce your fuel efficiency by up to 33% if you are traveling above 60 mph.     My new Alpha XL6 Manual is giving between 10.5-12 kms per litre against the claim of 20 in ideal conditions and a minimum of 15 within the city.I drive fairly long distances on flyovers everyday.I am really disappointed with this car's mileage especially when it is not even a month old.

    Its an MPV not a sports car, drive it with patience, avoid sudden acceleration and overspeedingMy car gives 12.6 in city on avg, 18/19 on highways
