  • Q. Jeep Compass Limited and automatic transmission run 8 km on the highway and 5 km in the city Years old and run 7000kms till date while the company is showing 14.1 kmpl please suggest me better

    @ Venkataraman | My Compass Limited Plus petrol automatic delivers 8 kmpl in city (8km drive) and 14-15 kmpl in highway stretches (less than 100kmph). If your mileage is low, please get your car checked.

    Is it that your Jeep Compass gives you only 8/5 km in highway/city? And that too after running 7000 km? For a diesel vehicle(assuming diesel because you said it is Limited model) this is extremely low. Why don’t you write to the Company and put in a complaint? In all probability the Company will keep mum and you will get a call from the dealer. If the issue is not sorted out, go to the consumer redressal route.

    After installation of new clutch with gas kit installed, Average has been drastically dropped from 14.5 to 9.02 in city average books, Long routes it has come down to 19.08 to 13.09 max not acceptable, Service everything was done from official jeep service station.
