The Maruti Ciaz facelift is powered by a new 1.5-litre petrol engine and carries forward the existing 1.3-litre diesel motor too. The new K15 petrol engine is rated at 105PS/138Nm, while the Fiat-borrowed diesel engine produces 90PS/200Nm. Both the engines are mated to a standard 5-speed manual transmission. The petrol, however, comes with an option of a 4-speed automatic. Coupled with SHVS mild-hybrid tech, the petrol Ciaz returns a claimed mileage of 21.56kmpl (MT) and 20.28kmpl (AT), while ARAI claimed fuel efficiency of the diesel engine stands at 28.09kmpl. Although, we have yet to test Ciaz in real world conditions. If you'll be driving more in heavy city traffic then we suggest you to opt for Automatic Transmission(AT) which are easier to use and more comfortable for the driver, while Manual Transmission vehicles are less expensive more involved & are more fun to drive on highways. On the other hand, manual transmissions offer much greater control over the vehicle's driving dynamics. There's really no substitute for the driving experience and level of control over the vehicle that a manual transmission can offer. Apart from it, if you are more like the average driver who simply wants to get from one place to another in the most efficient and comfortable way possible, go with the AT. If you are traveling less than 50-60km a day, opt for a petrol car instead of a diesel. With the extra Rs 1-1.50 lakh spent on a diesel purchase, you can actually drive a similar petrol car for as many as two years! So, do your math carefully. A diesel usually makes sense if you are driving above 60/70km a day.
If you need more mileage in less price the go for the Maruti Ciaz whereas for more power and features go can for the Hyundai Verna. Our suggestion would be to Honda City due it is the best combination of both the worlds. With ciaz it'll be very pocket friendly if you can compromise on the features. But if you need power and features either go for the honda city or verna .My personal opinion would be verna.
All three cars are very good in terms of quality and the service provided by the company is also good . Maruti Ciaz service is less costly than Honda and Toyota. Although both Honda city and Yaris produce more than 100bhp whereas Ciaz gives around 90bhp. Ciaz handling is bit soft due to which driving is not so confident at higher speeds.whereas city provides a very good stiif steering which is very responsive at higher speeds.. If you want a good car with all modern features ,good mileage and cheap service go for Ciaz . If you are more driving enthusiast then go for city or Yaris .but you have to pay more money for top model.

Yaris is the best thing which had happened to indian auto market, Very low noise vibration and you cannot find lag which CVT pulls over, Yaris CVT the best.
You get a difference about 3000-4000 even more than that (depends on every dealer). But,if u plan to buy an aftermarket.he must be trusted one for sure or else he might be Ur friend. In such conditions u have way to go.But if u're a noob in it . I recommend u to go with dealer as safety as concerned

Nope they don't provide rear parking camera on this variant.yes they do provide it as an accessory in nexa.Better u can go for aftermarket ones which is bit cheaper than it.But,if u don't care about the money u can go for extra accessory as rear parking camera and sensor as well

Aftermarket cameras don't integrate well with the design of the car... sensors and orvm will help sufficiently ro reverse the car..
The Automatic cars are generally preferred when mostly the car is driven in the city so that the driver can drive hassle-free in heavy traffic. On the highways, the Manual transmission is preferred because of the better performance and good fuel economy. The car enthusiast and people who love to drive prefer manual transmission because then the driver can drive the car according to there driving style and their own preferred gear shifting ratios. It like the driver has a better hold on the vehicle while driving in a manual transmission. However, Automatic has their own forte. If you drive mostly in the city or somewhere the traffic is high then you can go with the Maruti Ciaz AT whereas if you drive your cars mostly on the highways or loves to drive within your own style you can go with the Ciaz MT. The Ciaz MT may help you obtain a good fuel economy if you drive it in a certain required way.

These are personal preferences and you should take a decision on what suits you best.

For city drive automatic... For highways can opt for manual
There is not big affect on the performance of Maruti Suzuki Ciaz automatic with a 4-speed transmission. Just the response time decreases a bit. In simple terms, the time taken to reach 100 Kmph is more as compared to the manual transmission. If your major drive is on the highways, then we would recommend a manual transmission.
