I know everything "technical" about Octavia. So, the questions are only connected with service, maintenance costs and whether any failures or breakdowns have happened with regard to parts particularly like the fuel injectors etc or any of the fancy features not working or failing.

Yes bro the little luck means a lot..starting from buying one and skoda announcing huge discounts the next month...the disappearance if dealership..(not issues.. I mean it).. the injectors are tested outside ..fuel clogging is only an issue.. rising temp..coolant issues...suspension issues..and on selling if you have luck you get half the price..but it's still a sweetheart and segment winner..under 20 lac pricing and good service would have made it great!!!

I have been driving Skids cars since 9 years and have not encountered any major expenses! It all depends on how carefully you take care of your baby! For eg., carefree driving can damage the suspension, bad fuel can clog the injectors and damage the engine! Ultimately, little luck is also required.....

I have done 60k on my skoda as on date. I had to change my AC compressor once. Skoda was asking around 60,000 for it. I got it done locally for 20000. Otherwise, normal service is around 15000 for every 15000 km. No major breakdowns till now.
