I am planning to go for Jeep Compass Sport plus diesel. However, this base variant misses out on 2 features which I feel are important, reverse camera and fog lamps. Also I may replace the 16 inch alloys with 17 inch ones. Is it a good idea? How much would it cost (the add ons)?

You may have the rear parking camera and fog lamps installed in the lower variants of Jeep Compass. Also, the 16-inch wheels can be replaced with 17-inch wheels for better handling and control. However, for exact charges and availability of the parts, we'd suggest you to get in touch with the nearest authorized service center as they would be able to assist you better. In my opinion, better to go for a variant with the features than tinkering with after-market mods. Beware of voiding the warranty!
