• Q. I am in needing of a non ac bolero. I am confused to buy the m hawk engine new bolero plus or the CRDE engine. It is meant for commercial purpose wherein the vehicle would be running average distances of around 100 kms per day. And as per the claimed mileage stated, bolero is said to be 16 kmpl and power plus is 16.5 kmpl. Our family owes a bolero ZLX BS IV that gives mileage of around 13 and sometimes upto 18 +.And I was travelling in another Bolero ZLX BS - III wherein his digital meter was showing 21 kmpl and sometimes even 22+ kmpl ( with four passengers sitting and regular traffic non traffic on way.) My need is just a non ac bolero. And I am really confused on other factor as the price is almost the same. Won't the CC factor bring in a gap. What would happen if it needs to go long journeys of around 500 kms with just one or two halts as compared to the older Boleros..Please suggest me which Bolero to go for. Is power plus good enough to go on muddy areas and climb steep places. Is it preferrable to go for CRDE or DICR engine. Please help. Thanks in advance.
