  • Q. Can I fit CNG in LXI (0) from Company itself and what would be the in road price for this - Swift?

    Joseph, My piece of advice is do not go for a CNG kit as it affects the performance of the car directly. The pick up gets affected on an instant note right from the day one and when the car is fully laden, the accelerator doesn't go beyond 40KMph mark when you press the pedal completely down. Have seen it in Alto K10 as well. Moreover, you need to stand in long lines for CNG filling. Here, i am talking about 3 and 4 cylinder engines which are off 800 to 1200cc. Do not have idea of engines beyond the mentioned CC ones.

    Please don't buy cng from any company or from others. Best you may buy diesel. If you are going to buy cng car, is not good.

    It can be fitted locally but I will suggest not to do it until it’s fitted by Manufacturer

  • Great Car Ever

    I own a Swift 2014 model. As the name suggests, it's in the same condition. I have completed 80k+ km. Performance-wise, I would say it is still very smooth and apt for both city and highway compared to other segment cars. Spacing-wise, the back row space is limited and if you are healthy with good height, it becomes a little difficult for a long trip. Though pickup has slightly reduced considering the duration it's still worth it. Maintenance wise I would say pretty cheap as it costs around 6k approx per year.
