The suspension setup of Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 doesn’t feel all that great for bad roads. The Interceptor is running fairly beefy 41mm forks at the front and twin preload-adjustable gas-charged shocks at the back. The bike faultlessly for the fairly good roads but the back end did tend to feel stiff at times, and over a series of bumps, it manages to bounce the rider a bit. On the other hand, the Yamaha FZ 25 is tuned for good drivability in Indian traffic conditions and offers a comfortable ride but lacks the touring capabilities of the Interceptor 650. Moreover, we'd recommend taking a test ride of the bike in order to get acquainted with the performance and compatibility.
