• Q. Is it possible to mod a 350 engine to be a 500cc. I've seen some tech specs from both bikes and in numbers what makes the difference in both engines ( classic 350 or 500 abs dual chanel carburated may be 2019 or 2020 model) is: 2 clutch discs more in the 500cc, bigger oil pump, bore and piston, So now the questions, could be the 500 oil pump fitted in the 350 engine?, Could the 350cc engine be converted ( in a reliable way) just by fitting the head of the 500 engine? New carb and exhaust? Are these parts compatible like plug and play? But the info I found is related to old models of the re classic 350.... So.. if some one could give me a good way to understand it.

Hi everyone and much thanks for your repplies.... i´ve researched a lot and have seen many who could do this mod but no details :( .... just looking for a way to do it the right way, motorcycles in Ecuador are really expensive (seconhanded too) and wish to keep my classic (but really need extra CC)... since there are no more classic 500 on the market and new bikes are all plastic and computerized its now for me not worth (cause of budget too) getting a new one... still looking for the way to do it, and will be really helpful if someone out ther can suggest any engine mods that may not affect to much its longevity... @luther - @mm93 you say 'yes, it is possible '??? do you have more info about it ???

@ Dillip | It would not to possible to convert the 350cc engine to a 500cc as the parts will not be compatible with one another. Moreover, we would suggest you have a word with the nearest authorized service centre of Royal Enfield in your city. As they may assist you better.

I´ve talked to someone from RE and told me it would be possible, but no one has solved this question yet :( ... in Ecuador its really hard to find other bikes classic styled (a kawa vulcan s costs more than 17k) thats why i tought on this possibilitie.... cause i really need a bigger engine but i really love my classic (riding ergo, looks, no plastics and computers, just what a bike should be)
