• Q. I got a Jawa 42 2.1 15 days ago and have done around 400 km in Odometer. I am feeling vibrations on handlebar after 55-60 kmph. Also, just at 60, the engine sounds strained. Also, the gearing feels too short, the bike demands 3rd gear at 20, 4th at 40 and 5th at 50. Is this normal and gets resolved after 1st service, or is there some problem with my unit ?

Basically jawa 42 is a very harsh bike... everything on the bike is hard seat, suspension, handlebar which will completely ruin your comfort.. I'm planning to sell the vehicle not able bear with these things.

I too feel the same problem. Apart from this I also feel my handle forks are heavily loaded as I feel slightly difficult to steer while cornering.
