Q. How is the on-road performance of Royal Enfield Himalayan. Can you people suggest to buy it, some of my colleagues are not recommending.

After riding a Himalayan fir almost 13000 km (95% out of city limits) in 1 year, I would say it is a good one. But if ypur prior experience of riding is on a commuter motorcycle, you will find it difficult to handle, specially wothin city traffic. This machine is meant for touring and thats the best it does. So, before taking a call on your purchase, ask yourself about your preferences, a daily commuter machine OR a Touring machine, what's your's?

Himalayan is an all rounder but it performs excellent in off road adventures. On highway it's very comfortable and you can ride miles n miles on it without a stop but in city ride you will not feel as good. Also it depends on your taste of riding. Better take a test ride and take decision rather than asking people.
