Q. Already, I've booked r15 v3 bu the people are saying that this is harmful for our back & wrist pain. Although I asked for mileage in showroom and people are saying 35 and some other people are saying 42 what is the exact mileage of this bike??

Prashanth | 12 months ago2 ReplyI own a 2018 R15 V3 (non-ABS), and I've found that the bike is most comfortable when ridden solo. Like many sport bikes, it requires an aggressive riding posture, and a common mistake people make is relaxing their upper body weight onto the wrists, which can lead to discomfort over time. To avoid this, make sure to use your thighs to grip the bike and take the load off your wrists. I've ridden over 500 km with a pillion, both in the city and on highways, and I’ve noticed that mileage and performance can vary depending on the quality of the fuel. While the difference isn’t huge, it becomes noticeable on longer rides. Under gentle riding with smooth gear shifts, I get between 45-60 km per litre. If ridden aggressively, especially in overdrive, it drops to about 30-35 km per litre. With a pillion, the mileage is naturally lower than the figures above.Pro Tip: For better mileage on highways, try to maintain a more streamlined sitting position. Avoid puffing out your chest, as it increases drag. The figures mentioned are based on the assumption that your engine, tires, and overall bike condition are in good shape.
Aravindh | 4 years ago3 ReplyI bought the bike in oct 2018, bs4 non abs version, trust me there's no discomfort at all in cities and highways, i used travel around 50kms a day and also did many tours from 300 to 1500kms in single stretch. The key to ride comfortably is how you ride it. You have grip the bike with your thighs and use it to steer too (only after you getting used to this). Never ever put weight on upper body(shoulder, arms, wrists), your upper body should be free.Mileage is around 42-50kmpl in cities.and in highways i never cruised, always used to shift in redline. so i used to get 35-40kmpl

Karunsriram | 7 years ago50 ReplyHi Akash, Mileage depends on many factors. First, analyse the traffic in which you ride your bike. If you live in a rural place facing mild traffic, try to maintain your revs at 3k-5k in all gears and maintain an avg speed of 60. With this formulae you'll easily end up getting a good mileage around 45-50kmpl. Whereas if you live in a city like Chennai and get locked in heavy traffic frequently your mileage will drop drastically. I use it for daily commute maintaining an average speed of 20-25km in city conditions. With heavy up and down shifts and a lot of fuel burning I get a mileage of around 37-38kmpl which actually is very good for a track designed bike in city conditions. Also, this bike has very aggressive seating position which definitely will give you a hell lot of wrist, neck and back pains. But, you'll have to sacrifice them all to own such a beautifully designed beast. The specs it provides for this pricing you are buying it for an absolute bargain.
Dipu | 3 years ago0 ReplyI bought this bike on 25 February 2019 , I did only 10000 kms , its because of the riding position is not fully satisfied, if you ride gently you can get up to 60 kms per litre , but most of the R15 users didn’t ride gently they ride it on power mode and high rpm and low gear to make more powerful , in this time the bike will get a mileage of 30-35 kms per litre, but remember one think if you ride gently you can get up to 60-62 kms per litre , but I didn’t recommend this bike , cause the riding position is not ok for me
Devraj | 6 years ago7 ReplyI've been using this around six months and the mileage is around 45 depending upon your right style also you should look for YouTube videos for proper riding posture and also it doesn't harm your self and your chest and back don't worry bro.
Vinod | 6 years ago11 ReplyI got a mileage of 48 in cities and 60 plus in highways and even more when drove in economy, that is 70 - 80 km/hr. Seating is not a big deal if you learn to sit on the machine. The only thing is where to grip and how to hold on to your bike. You will come to know about the same in a week or see youtube video how to sit of v3. It is really comfortable for long rides too.
Arjun | 5 years ago1 ReplyI've had my R15 for a month and done 1100km. No pains to report here and the mileage is reported on the console around 58kmpl. It's definitely over 50 because I do a full tank every 500 or so KMs.
Prasanth | 5 years ago0 ReplyMileage is a thing that completely depends on your riding style. So you cant get a exact Mileage of a bike from other. What you can get is only the possible mileage range a bike can give.
V3 | 4 years ago0 ReplyNo man, if you get used to it, you will love it. Ive only taken it to long rides and i don't feel any pain. Mileage is please 48-55 kmpl after bs6 update depending on speed / condition.
Cliffer | 7 years ago3 ReplyI would personally suggest you don't buy if its going to be a long distance travel. Your back and your arms will pain because of the seating position, it being a sport bike. Besides, there is nothing wrong with the Bike, it's a great bike but for long distances, I would recommend other categories such a Cruiser or Street.
Jo | 6 years ago0 ReplyIt's a sports bike make your core strength.mileage you can expect that much enjoy itthan thinking of mileage many high cc commuters have only 10 more than a v3!!
Reni | 3 years ago0 ReplyI bought dark night edition on 2019 bs4. 25000 k am passed.. Sometimes I felt difficult to ride more than 150 kms.. But in my experience this bike gives you awesome performance in the traffic and I am very satisfied in this bike.. The abs perfect in all ways... And I getting an average of 45 kms..
Stark | 7 years ago0 ReplyListen dude , It doesn't matter nor make any sense, what the people say. It's all about your choice and a/c my point of view, it is best. And about mileage in the beginning it gives 36 kmpl and after few servicing it will increase to 40-42.
Vlog | 6 years ago0 ReplyThere is no back pain, wrist pain is really if you go on long ride.!!!!!!! Mileage -> 45 to 50!!!!! I got mileage between these figure
Jo | 5 years ago0 ReplyWrist pain because we tend to clench on throttle tightly on straight..not recommended..relax second ..find your appropriate posture.

Adarsh | 6 years ago0 Reply40-45 depends on your riding behavior,, about wrist and back pain its depend on your hight and your riding position... If your hight 5.5 or above then go for it
