Suzuki Burgman Street Latest Updates

After unveiling the BS6-compliant Burgman Street 125 at the Auto Expo 2020, Suzuki has now launched the premium scooter at Rs 77,900. The updated Burgman Street 125 now gets two new paint options -- Burgandy and the MotoGP livery. The MotoGP edition has not yet been launched, but is likely to be a bit more expensive than the standard options. The updated 124cc motor now makes 8.7PS at 6750rpm and 10Nm at 7000rpm. While the power output is similar to the outgoing model, torque is down by 0.2Nm. At 110kg, the BS6 Burgman Street is 2kg heavier than the older model. It employees telescopic suspension at the front and a hydraulic monoshock at the rear. Braking is managed by a disc brake at the front and a drum unit at the rear. CBS (Combined Braking System) comes as standard. The Burgman Street competes with the Honda Grazia, Hero Maestro 125, TVS NTorq 125, Honda Activa 125, the Yamaha Fascino 125 and the Aprilia SR 125.

Must Read Questions & Answers Before Buying Burgman Street

Q. Is it suitable for long distance continuously - Burgman Street?
  • Yes, you can take it to long rides but it is best at city rides. The Burgman Street shares the same 124.3cc engine as the Access, which produces 8.7PS of peak power at 7000rpm and 10.2Nm of torque at 5000rpm. Oddly enough, our road test review felt otherwise. The Burgman Street seems to be a lot more refined and a much smoother ride overall. Its power delivery is more linear than the Access, which is most happy in the mid-range. To our surprise, the Burgman proved to be more practical in terms of fuel efficiency as well compared to its sibling. It managed to deliver a mileage of 54.9kmpl in the city and 54.7kmpl on the highway while the Access offered 51.3kmpl and 52.7kmpl respectively. Targeted towards a family-oriented audience, the ergonomics of the scooter have a huge role to play here. Hence, special emphasis has been put on the uniquely designed handlebar, stretched out floorboard and wide stepped seat which makes for a relaxed and comfortable ride.
  • Buddy I travelled from Bangalore to coorg , worst roads , alot of risk and 250 kms one sided . Bike is functioning awesomely , bas suspension tight arao . Engine oil issue mat do , we rested in btw as like every 2 hrs .we stopped for 10 to 15 mins .it's a carborator , engine .
  • Burgman is very much like a long haul vehicle, if your body can support the long drives then go for it. My back on the other hand could not take it after 2 hours :))) and i have to take a break.

Q. Can we change the rear tyre of the Burgman to a larger one
  • Just because other 125 cc comes with bigger radials doesn't mean you should also go for, the company choose this size because their target audience is different and the scooter performs best in this configuration, unless you daily commute involves rough roads I think it's best to keep stock radials or if you really want to for then always authorized service centers.
  • Suzuki Burgman Street gets rear tyre of size 90/100-10. Though, you can upgrade it to 1 to 2 inch but you it may results reduction in acceleration. Moreover, we would suggest you to do such modification under the shed of authorized service center. • I wish I could I don't know what after effects I will face may be a slight slow down in acceleration I am too waiting for official confirmation well if nothing such happens I would also like to upgrade it to a 12 inch one

Q. I have booked for Burgman Street and I am 5.1 inch in height will it be comfortable for me to ride?
  • Look pal according to a rider rules it is said that before purchasing any scooter or bike the individual should visit a showroom and test all sort of machines available in market and atleast have a test ride for his/her favourite machines and then he/she should decide to purchase any bike/scooter.hope it was helpful.
  • Seat is a bit broad so you might wanna sit at the tip while stopped or crawling in traffic, has very good balance so will need to keep ya feet down less
  • It depends on a rider's ability to drive...but with respect to my view 5.1 height will be short for burgman 125

it"s an awesome machine with a beautiful styling, features, sitting posture, wide seating space, nice cruiser footrest and a beautiful power.but there are some demerits also like*thin rear tyre results to slip off in any type of muddy or wet road in many situations. (THE MAJOR DEMERIT)*switches installed for the side lamps/indicators and headlamp/headlight are kinky to command after some month of ride as i saw in my machine.but at last other than the thinness of the rear tyre the overall machine is awesome to ride and as a rider i enjoys to ride it in my daily life routines.regards,SAUD NAFEES

I had a major accident with my burgman in the month of December . When after fully repaired , on 14th Feb , March , 7 kg raksack and 85 kg guy sitting behind me , we went to coorg from Bengaluru , that is 250 km and came came back forth to Bengaluru , not a single issue I face with the power Ran smooth , not a single engine issue I faced . Till now , it's one of the best scooty I have bought , value for money , mileage 53 , not a single backpain or any issues . Best part is you can comfortably mouth your leg of the forward footrest .Over all awesomeThank you Suzuki for such a product.

Lovely ride, Suzuki Burgman 125 is very good, and comfortable for ling rides as well as daily city.I am completely satisfied with its overall amazing performance. The SEP technology by Suzuki increases its fuel efficiency without compromising on performance. I easily across 97kmph with burgy on highways obviously. And talking about highway rides, its fuel efficiency also increase upto 53 kmpl, city rides gives around 50 kmpl avg.

Bought this scooter 2 weeks back, Its just awesome and makes you different in the crowd. Awesome looks, Great comfort and Very easy to handle. Breaking system is just great, there is no scooter in the market that can beat this machine in 125 CC segment. If you are willing to buy a 125 CC Scooter then close your eyes and go for this machine.

Suzuki burgman 125 cc I bought just two weeks earlier and done with 762 kms. I found the bike bends to right side while riding and whole weight or pressure falls in right hand. And also it is observable the handle head it not flitted symmetrically to body, it is fitted towards right. And it's from showroom found found on other bikes too.
