Bajaj has done well in keeping the CT100 BS6 pricing low and helping it retain its core USP of being an affordable commuter motorcycle. However we feel that Bajaj could have added a few features to the new CT100, notably a tubeless tyre. The Bajaj CT100 BS6 is a good option if you are looking for an economical workhorse.

CT100 Key Highlights
Design: The CT100 BS6 retains the same bodywork as its BS4 predecessors but now gets blacked out powertrain, suspension components and alloy wheels. It comes in 3 colours -- Gloss Ebony Black with Blue decals, Matte Olive Green with Yellow decals and Gloss Flame Red with Bright Red decals. It now gets an engine bash plate.
Features: The Bajaj CT100 BS6 gets basic features like a halogen headlamp, bulb tail lamp and bulb turn indicators. It gets a spartan twin-pod analogue instrument console that includes the speedometer and telltale lights.
Engine: The Bajaj CT100 BS6’s 102cc air-cooled motor gets a unique electronic air-injection system that is more affordable than a fuel-injected setup and helps keep costs down. The BS6-compliant motor delivers 7.9PS at 7500rpm and 8.34Nm at 5500rpm. That's 0.2PS and 1.34Nm more than the BS4 CT100. The new motor comes with a four-speed gearbox. The Bajaj CT100 BS6 gets a tubular downtube frame with the bottom part being a cradle frame setup. It gets telescopic forks and dual Spring in Spring (SNS) shock absorbers. Braking setup includes 130mm front drum and 110mm rear drum with combined braking system as standard. It gets 17-inch alloy wheels with tubed tyres. Fuel tank capacity has increased by 0.5 litres and is 10.5 litres now. Weight is up by 2kg and the bike weighs 115kg now.
Rivals: The Bajaj CT100 BS6 competes with the Hero HF Deluxe BS6 and TVS Sport BS6.
Variants: The Bajaj CT100 BS6 now comes in only two variants compared to the BS4 model’s three variants. It is available in KS Alloy (Rs 46,432) and ES Alloy (Rs 48,474, ex-showroom Delhi). For Rs 7,680 more, you get an electric starter and an engine bash plate.
