MG RC-6

MG Motor India showcased the RC-6 sedan in India at Auto Expo 2020. It is a four-door coupe which will rival the Skoda Octavia and Honda Civic in India, if it is launched on our shores. First exhibited at the Chengdu Motor Show in 2019, the RC-6 is a tall sedan which sits 198mm off the ground, higher than both the Skoda and Honda. If launched, it is likely to be priced upwards of Rs 15 lakh.

Under the bonnet of the RC-6 lies a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine which makes 147PS and 245Nm. It is available in its home market of China with both a 6-speed manual transmission or an 8-speed CVT.

The MG RC-6 is packed with advanced remote control systems such as phone-based connected car features and voice commands to control the air conditioning, infotainment, and other functions.

If launched, the RC-6 will be the only car in its class to offer advanced driver assistance and active safety systems.
