Q. I want to compare Lexus LS with new Mercedes Benz S-class.
  • Both Mercedes-Benz S-Class and Lexus LS are top-notch premium sedans from the respective carmakers that offers a lot of features and class interiors. The 2021 Lexus LS has been revealed and it gets a few cosmetic changes and plenty of new features. The biggest change is the addition of a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system that features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other changes include steering-mounted controls finished in black for better legibility and repositioned controls for the heated steering wheel and seats. The LS 500h, as the name suggests, gets a hybrid powertrain which consists of a 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine and two electric motors. They have a combined power output of 354PS. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 10-speed eCVT gearbox. On the other hand, the Merc is available with two engine options: a 3.0-litre inline-six, BSVI-compliant diesel engine that generates 286PS of power and 400Nm of torque and a 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine that makes 367PS of power and 500Nm of torque.
