  • My Experience

Being the first car of the family, The most affordable, Practical car that fits Indian roads, And mostly importantly meets our requirements. Considering all these as parameters to buy a car- swift stands out for me. I went with the lxi model as I'm not much interested in the features of the car. Appearance - coming to the looks and appearance there's not much more to say as it is a way long back existing car on Indian roads that most people have experience with it. As now it's being 3rd generation car, The new grills are so appealing with chrome liner. Comfort - in terms of comfort, I would like to say that it satisfies every middle-class family. It is perfectly a five-seater car comfortable for avg build people and a 4 seater for heavy people. Comfortable for city drives and occasionally long drives. In addition to the seating comfort, There are sufficient features that are offered. Safety- a universal fact about Maruti offering cars at a reasonable price because of lots of cost-cutting in weight reduction and offering only two airbags. However, the company claims it meets the country's safety measures. The company has to realize that competitors are doing better because of Maruti's low build quality and safer car. Engine- a big thumbs up for offering an unbeatable reliable engine that provides 4-cylinder 89bhp power and 113nm torque.A perfect engine that suits this well-balanced dimensional car. This engine never feels tired. Drive- a fun-to-drive car and easy to maneuver in Indian cities and narrow roads. Never felt any power lags, Engine NVH level is also quite low. Swift gear shifting and smooth pedaling with hydraulic steering offer a great riding experience. After-sales experience - so far I have completed 1st service. I get an 18kmpl fuel efficiency. Expecting more economy in future. Maruti is known for its services, Availability, And pocket-friendly which I truly experienced it. Conclusion - a true Indian hatchback car that suits Indian families and Indian roads. A commendable engine and driving experience at an affordable price make this car more popular. Expecting the company to improve the safety standards to advance level at economically viable so that it could be named a 'middle-class luxurious car.' thank you.

  • Certainly! Here's a full

**maruti suzuki swift: a mixed experience** owning a maruti suzuki swift for the past six years has been both a joyous journey and a frustrating experience. The swift, Known for its nimble handling and fuel efficiency, Has undoubtedly provided me with some memorable rides. However, Amidst the positives, There lurk several shortcomings that have tarnished my ownership experience.Let's begin with the advantages.Firstly, The driving experience of the swift is unparalleled. Its responsive steering and agile handling make every journey a delight.Secondly, The low maintenance costs have been a relief for my wallet.Regular servicing and occasional repairs have not burned a hole in my pocket.Thirdly, The swift boasts commendable mileage, Averaging around 22 km per liter. This fuel efficiency has been a boon, Especially during long drives.Lastly, The spacious interior comfortably accommodates five passengers, Making it an ideal choice for family outings or road trips. However, The aforementioned advantages are overshadowed by some glaring disadvantages.Foremost among them is the poor build quality of the swift.A minor incident, Such as my little brother sitting on the bonnet, Resulted in an unsightly dent. This fragility extends to other parts as well, Notably the plastic bumper.Even a slight collision can cause it to disintegrate into two separate pieces.Furthermore, The lack of features in the base model, Swift lxi, Is disappointing. With manual window openers and no music system, The car feels outdated and lacking in modern conveniences. In conclusion, While the maruti suzuki swift offers a thrilling driving experience and economical ownership, Its flaws cannot be overlooked. The poor build quality and lack of features detract from its overall appeal. Therefore, Despite its fun-to-drive nature, I hesitate to recommend the swift to prospective buyers.Unless maruti suzuki addresses these issues, The swift's charm may fade in the eyes of discerning consumers.

    Secure feeling

Mine was a 2012 model maruti swift vxi model which was heavy on weight and 1.3 lit engine. It was a gem of an engine with lot of stability on highway run and good body control and confidence while driving at high speed.Comfort at front seats were excellent at the time when the car was launch as they were having huge seats and good cushioning for long comfortable journey.Best thing - silent, Heavy built giving confidence of big solid car and rock solid stability on highway at high speed.Worst thing - as it was from maruti so please do not expect a very high quality interior material and rattling sound to definitely come after almost 50k run.Overall performance - excellent in that segment at the time of launch.King of the road. There was a time when almost every 5th car you see on road was swift only.Mileage - as it is maruti you can hardly go wrong on mileage.I got best mileage of 19.3 km per lit and avg as 13 odd in city driving condition.Build quality - heavy and secure feeling but definitely not as per market competitor like hyundai i20vibrations - not any when new but after 50k km run please expect some rattling sound definitely in the vehicle.Features - very poorly loaded car as per the standard during that period.Vxi model came with nothing.(no airbag, No abs as standard, No music system, No steering mounted control obviously), No option of alloy wheel also in case you want one by paying extra as factory standard. No option of automatic at all.(maruti introduced it very late else it would been stellar combination and would have swept the market without a doubt)after sales service - how can you ever go wrong in maruti??? after all india runs on maruti so this was never a question or a doubt.Closing remarks :- i have sold that vehicle now after driving almost 85k kms but if i still like swift very much and an automatic option available is making me drool over it again and again :)thanks and happy reading.
