Liger X

Mumbai-based electric mobility company Liger Mobility has unveiled its first self balancing electric scooter, the Liger X, at Auto Expo 2023. Head here for all the details.

The Liger X is India's first self balancing electric scooter and is available in two variants: X and X Plus.The technology allows the electric scooter to balance itself at low speeds.

In terms of design the Liger X and X Plus employ a neo retro styling with an apron-mounted LED headlight resembling Iron Man’s Arc Reactor.

While both variants claim a top speed of 65 kmph, the X variant claims a range of 60km, whereas the X Plus variant claims a range of 100km. Both the variants feature 4G and GPS enabled smartphone connectivity, with live location, ride history, battery pack SOC (State Of Charge) and temperature. The Liger X Plus comes equipped with a TFT display featuring turn-by-turn navigation along with phone call and message alerts.

With bookings commencing from mid-2023, the deliveries are slated to begin by the end of 2023. Expect the Liger X to come with a sticker price of around Rs 1.7 lakh, and the X Plus around Rs 1.9 lakh, both ex-showroom. While the top speed is more in line with the Hero Electric's Optima and Nyx, the Liger X's features are more on par with Ather 450X, TVS iQube Electric, Ola S1, and Hero Vida V1.

Range: X can go upto 100 km/charge after a full charge.
