Mid-size SUV

Best midsize SUV in 2016 and still the best in 2023. I am using it for the last 6+ yrs and 152, 000 km running. Till no problem in any of its parts, Engine, Only I have to change tires and battery ones. Running like butter on the road. I am waiting for a facelift for Creta. My next SUV will be Creta.

Base variant

3.3

Mileage is not that good as i have installed both bumper guards.Maintenance is ok kind with normal servicing but parts aren't cheap.Safety is offered, We can feel it in the cabin.Being base variant there is lack of safety features.Comfort is decent, There is road noise coming to cabin.

CIZER THAPA's Creta 2015-2020 gives mileage of 8 kmpl on Petrol engine and Manual transmission

Less new age features due

Less new age features due to high sale may be at this price. Back seat is not comfortable for middle part of seat.

Q. Is Creta 1.5 diesel available in AMT?
  • The 115PS, 1.5-litre diesel engine in Hyundai Creta comes paired to a 6-speed torque converter. There is no AMT on offer.
Q. My monthly average run is less than 1500km most city drive is it ok with diesel engine?
  • Selecting the right fuel type depends on your utility and the average running of the car. If you drive less than 50km in a day then we recommend you to go with a petrol car as they are easy to maintain, have a longer life span and they cost less initially than the diesel car. On the other hand, diesel cars are preferred if the average daily run is more than 50km which makes it a feasible purchase.Diesel cars are more fuel-efficient and provide more torque, therefore, are preferred for a person who drives more than 50km. Whereas, petrol engine has a low service cost, more life span, generally have a well-controlled NVH level and are cheaper in cost than the diesel engines. Since you drive around 50km in a day, diesel engines the right choice for you.
Q. Which will be the best petrol value for money model in Hyundai Creta and what is the mileage?
  • Hyundai Creta is available with two petrol engine: a 115PS, 1.5-litre naturally aspirated unit and a 140PS, 1.4-litre turbo-petrol. The claimed ARAI mileage figures for both engine stands at 16.8 kmpl. As for the variants, selecting one would depend on certain factors such as your budget and required features. If the budget allows, then you may opt for the SX variant that offers a host of features. The SX variant of the 2020 Creta is the most value-for-money offering. If you are looking for an automatic Creta, this will be the base version and it's pretty loaded for that. Read More:- New Hyundai Creta: Here’s What Each Variant Has To Offer
