Kawasaki India has become the first Japanese manufacturer to launch a 600cc supersport in India with the Ninja ZX-6R. It has received an introductory price of Rs 10.49 lakh (ex-showroom India). What you get for that price is a 600cc inline four experience which is now legal in India. The ZX-6R has a 636cc inline-four motor nestled inside a pressed aluminium perimeter frame. 70.8Nm peak torque kicks in at 11,000rpm and 130PS of peak power is made at 13,500rpm, which is bonkers territory! The six-speed transmission gets a quickshifter to go up the gears quickly. In terms of the riding aids, it gets 3-stage traction control, ABS and two power modes.
