Hero MotoCorp has launched two new commuter motorcycles in India, the Passion Pro and the Glamour 125. Both motorcycles are BS6 compliant and have been packaged well, factoring in form and function in equal measure. The new Passion Pro BS6 gets a brand new 113.2cc, fuel-injected, single-cylinder motor also seen in the Splendor iSmart BS6, and it produces 9.15PS and 9.79Nm of torque. The new Passion Pro has been launched in India at a price of Rs 64,990 (drum) and Rs 67,190 (disc; all prices, ex-showroom Delhi).
The Glamour 125 is an all-new motorcycle, featuring not only a new motor but also a new frame! It now gets a diamond frame which replaces the tubular cradle frame on the older model. The BS6 Glamour 125 is available in two variants (drum and disc) and has been priced at Rs 68,900 and Rs 72,400 respectively (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi).
The Glamour 125 BS6 will rival the Honda SP125 and the Bajaj Pulsar 125.
