The 2020 Hyundai i20 is the 3rd generation of the model that’s been offered for sale in India. The new version is based on Hyundai’s lightweight K platform and is offered with more engines and transmission than before. Petrol buyers can choose between the 1.2 litre NA petrol offered with a 5-speed manual or CVT, or the 1.0 litre turbo petrol offered with a 6-speed iMT or 7 speed DCT. The i20 2020 will also be offered with a diesel engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.
A big selling point for the new i20 is the sheer number of features it offers. Highlights include a 10.25 inch touchscreen, 7-speaker BOSE music system, digital instrument cluster, wireless phone charger, sunroof, air purifier, LED projector headlights, projector fog lamps & connected car tech.
