- 2020 Honda City is still available with petrol MT, petrol CVT & diesel MT - New Honda City is based on a heavily revised version of the 4th gen’s platform - New features in the 2020 City include the lane watch camera, 7-inch digital driver information system, rear manual sunblind and connected car tech Honda has finally launched the 5th generation of the Honda City. The car is now longer and wider than before and even gets fresh new tech. The 2020 City is available with revised 1.5 litre i-VTEC petrol and 1.5 litre i-DTEC diesel engines. The petrol is now available with a new 6-speed manual transmission and an updated CVT, while the diesel still gets a 6-speed manual only. For 2020, the City adds new LED headlamps, an 8-inch touchscreen, 7-inch driver information system, rear sunblind and connected car tech that includes Amazon Alexa connectivity. It also gets the lane watch camera from the Civic. The 5-seater sedan offers 506 litres of boot space and a roomier cabin to seat 5.
