The Honda City facelift launched in India on February 14, 2017 priced between Rs 8.50 lakh and Rs 13.57 lakh. It comes with some segment-first features and a new top-end ZX variant. Changes to the exterior include LED headlamps, foglamps and tail lamps; a slimmer chrome grille; 16-inch diamond cut alloys; and a new Modern Steel Metallic shade. On the inside, the steering gets reach-adjustment and a one-touch operation for the sunroof. The top-of-the-line ZX variant gets additional kit such as auto-headlamps, auto-wipers, a new Android-based seven-inch touchscreen infotainment, and LED map lights at the front and LED reading lights at the rear. In terms of safety, the City is now equipped with dual airbags and ABS as standard and side and curtain airbags in the top-end variant. The City continues to be powered by 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines that put out 119PS/145Nm and 100PS/200Nm respectively. The petrol gets a 5-speed manual gearbox with the option of a CVT automatic with paddle-shifters, while the diesel is available only with a six-speed manual transmission. The City now delivers a mileage of 25.6kmpl for the diesel (down from 26kmpl) and 17.4kmpl for the petrol City.
