Unveiled at Mahindra’s Freedom NU event in Mumbai this Independence Day, the Vision S Concept grabs attention instantly with its bold upright grille, signature “S” badge, and tough, compact stance. Expected to be a sub-4-metre “baby Scorpio”, it carries the rugged DNA of the legendary Scorpio, but in a more city-friendly size. Its muscular proportions, upright design, and rugged detailing scream SUV heritage, while certain angles and elements even hint at a Land Rover Defender vibe — something SUV fans are sure to notice. After weeks of playful teasers, Mahindra finally revealed not just the Vision S, but also the Vision X, Vision T, and Vision SXT — all based on the brand’s new NU IQ platform, showcasing the future of Mahindra’s SUV design.
