Latest Updates on Scrambler 1100

Ducati has unveiled the new Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO. It pays homage to Ducati’s first scrambler offering, which rolled out in 1971. Read all about it in our story.

Ducati launched the Scrambler 1100 models in India with prices starting at Rs 11.95 lakh for the Pro model and Rs 13.74 lakh for the Pro Sport model. This makes them Rs 1.04 lakh and Rs 2.32 lakh more than their BS4 counterparts. Here are all the details regarding the new larger Scramblers. The Italian brand might also bring in a more affordable variant of the bike with blacked-out elements, called the Dark Pro variant. More details on the new colour option here.

The launched trims get new colours and graphics along with other updates like a new twin exhaust setup, an updated seat and tail section consisting of a shorter rear fender and lower mounted number plate holder. The top end Scrambler 1100 Sport Pro stands out from the standard variant with a dark colour scheme, flatter handlebar with bar-end mirrors and Ohlins suspension.

Both motorcycles get an updated Euro 5/BS6-compliant 1079cc air-cooled L-twin motor that delivers 86PS at 7500rpm and 88.4Nm of torque at 4750rpm.That’s a performance drop of 1.1PS over the BS4 motor. Electronic rider aids include ride-by-wire with three riding modes: Active, Journey and City. Other electronic rider aids include four-stage traction control and cornering ABS.

The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Pro and Scrambler 1100 Sport Pro compete against the upcoming BS6 scramblers like the Triumph Scrambler 1200 and BMW R nineT.

Thoroughbred ducati

Thoroughbred ducati know for its reliability.Clocked 20k kms and the bike never disappointed. Can take bad roads, Pothole, Wet and slippery surfaces and even some soft offroading.Exhaust is a bit loud but calms down while cruising.Breaking is phenomenal.Overall safe and practical bike. The down sides are heat management, Not a traffic bike, Attracts lot of unwanted attention and expensive to maintain. The dealer in hyderabad is good and offers great support.
