With the reduction in GST rates, the Ather 340 is now Rs 9,000 less expensive than before. The 340 is now priced at Rs 1.02 lakh and Rs 1.10 lakh (on-road) in Bangalore and Chennai, respectively.
It is reported that Ather Energy is planning to expand to 30 cities by the end of FY 2023. The brand will then add 20 more cities under its umbrella by 2024. Apart from these plans, Ather is also said to enter international markets like Latin America, Southeast Asia and Europe by 2024. That being said, it remains to be seen as to which market the startup will enter first.
