Very smooth handling and acceleration

TVS Apache RTR 160 4V comes with a decent design attractive for today's youth. the 164 cc engine gives enough power for daily usage. it has a mileage of 45 kmpl which is good for a 164cc bike. I liked the seating posture and the maintenance cost is moderate. rear suspension is little bit hard. according to me the pricing is reasonable. overall, a good riding companion for daily commuters.

Great value for money bike

It gives more power, more torque and more feature and is a more value for money bike than Bajaj Pulsar NS 160. With the three years of experience i am getting 45 kmpl of mileage and is very easy to turn this bike also the gearbox is good but handling is not that great. The seat is very comfortable and feels like a big bike and the brakes are also good and the supension is very good with absorbent quality but at corners it gives movement.

next level quality rides

My TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is a popular 160cc bike. It generally claims a mileage of around 45 kmpl which is not that much satisfying as i need it in my daily needs . The price of the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V starts from around ₹1.23 lakh . It generally weighs around 143 kg which is quite decent and fuel tank capacity of around 12 liters. Overall The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is a compelling choice for riders seeking a stylish, feature-rich, and powerful 160cc bike.

Testing Out the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V

Having driven the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V for a few months, I am quite pleased with its performance. The upgraded 159 cc 4 valve engine is a delight, providing better power and torque than its siblings. The ride quality is superb all thanks to the optimized chassis and suspension setup. On city roads and highways alike, it proves to be a smooth operator. On the downside, the fuel economy is a bit less than I expected, I average around 40 kmpl.which, although decent but it is not the best in this segment.

Riding the TVS Apache RTR

4.2

Riding the tvs apache rtr 160 4v is super fun! it's easy to handle and feels comfortable with its upright seating. However, Some riders might find the seat a bit hard, And the suspension can feel stiff on rough roads.Best this of this bike is great for performance lovers. It looks cool and rides smoothly. Also sounds sporty.Sometimes, The chain gets loose on the apache, Which can be annoying. And this happens after every 1000-1200 kms. This bike gives mileage of around 50 kmpl if you ride it at an avg.Speed of 60 kmph. The pickup is awesome, And the bike feels strong and sturdy. Some riders might feel slight vibrations at higher speeds, But it's not a big deal.It comes with cool features like two trip meters, A top speed recorder, And an odometer.Plus there are indicators for rpm, Service reminders and low batter. It shows time also on the display. For after sale service - personally, I don't prefer using service centers for tvs bikes. They're not very responsive and often don't have materials available on time. Also, Their charges are a bit high.

General oil

3.4

Hello I have purchased tvs apache rtr 160 4v fi 3 moths back and i am writing this review after riding the bike around 2500 kms.1. Buying experience 1.Its good i rate 2/5. During the sales tvs company claims 60 kmpl is the mileage and average mileage is around 50 .But you hardly get 35-40 mileage which could be worst if you are expecting mileage and a daily commuter better don’t buy if not if have to spend a lot only on filling the petrol 2.Riding experience 1.Its good i rate 4/5 3.Details about looks, performance etc.1.Looks : it has a great look which has convinced me to buy this bike. 2.Performance is moderate on the performance of this bike . It has a great engine power but worst mileage. I hardly get 35-40 mileage which is most worst part of this bike. 4. Servicing and maintenance.During the sales they don’t mention on the servicing and maintenance part but this bike has to be filled with a special synthetic oil which costs around 700 per filling which is double the cost of general oil . 5.Pros and cons 1.Pros : good performance in terms of engine power 2.Cons : worst mileage hardly 35 kmpl and high maintenance than a general bikes in this segment.

Amazing Bike

Apache 160 4v is a very good city and highway bike. It can cruise easily at 80-100 kmph without any effort. It gives me 40 kmpl in the city and 50-55 kmpl on highway rides. Power is enough and highest in the segment so no such complaints about power.
