Q. I am 5 ft 6 inch height. Is Fazer 25 good for me?
  • My height is also 5 ft 6 inch. Fazer 25 is comfortable for me.
  • As long as your love & alertness in you or for your riding skill is concerned, you can go ahead with FAZER 25. I have seen Girls/ladies with 5ft 2 inches height riding superbikes in INDIA.

Q. I am planning to buy a bike in Yamaha only. Suggest me a good one. I am really confused since I am falling for every Yamaha bike which I see. - Fazer 25?
  • Its good ! In mileage performance .. specs were somewhat normal like other ones. If u dont want abs just fo for it
  • Well...it depends on your choice & money you can spend. No doubt YAMAHA is a good brand & service centers are of the highest quality. Despite of very good engines & service centers, resale value of YAMAHA is far lesser than HONDA & HERO. I would suggest, if you make your dream bike to be a part of your daily commuting (like i did), go for FZ 25 ABS / FAZER 25 ABS for smooth ride on long rides as well as daily use, engine does not get hot in rush hours, mileage is also better in 250CC bike segment. YAMAHA R15V3 is good for style & fast riding quotient on long roads only. You can also check out for FZ V3 versions f
  • For daily use in town/city, long ride comfortably & good mileage (AVG 38km/litre in towns, 42km/litre on highways) buy Fazer 25 ABS. Otherwise for sporty & stylish looks YZF R15 V3 (check out if ABS version has been arrived)

  • Both! But Fazer 25 has a uniqueness which is not available in fz 25
  • Both FZ 25 & FAZER 25 is the best. FZ is naked & FAZER is muscular. To my opinion, FAZER 25 ABS adds more value in style.
Q. Please advice if it is comfortable for riding with 7 year boy and ladies, I mean I want to travel with my family around 60 to 70 km daily, is this confortable for 3 person - Fazer 25?
  • Yes its comfortable but you will feel some pain not more than other bikes
  • No motorcycle is meant for more than 2 people.

Local mechanics

I bought it on 2/10/2017 and writing this review on 2/10/2018. In this 1 year I had this bike only for 9 months. Rest 3 months it was at workshop. Reason: no availability of spare. I ordered a brake pad (which needs to be changed in every 5000km) they brought the product in 1 month. So for one month I couldn"t ride my bike. Today I was on a commute and bike suddenly got off (I was riding almost 120kmph) and it got off. I tried to start it but i couldn"t. This bike is out of understanding of local mechanics. I had to pull it for 1 hour on a highway to reach nearest yamaha workshop. They couldn"t even start it and i was asked to come to next day. Concluding suggestion: don"t buy it. It"s more a headache than a bike. High maintenance cost and non availability of spares. Rather go for ktm or royal enfield.

You can ride for long hours without stop! CRAZY MACHINE WILL SATISFY your NEEDS WITH GOOD MILEAGE AND PERFORMANCE!!IT CAN GO UP TO 145KMH IN 2MINSCHANGE THE STOCK WINDSHIELD AND REACH THE REDLINE 😍 SAFEST MACHINE TOO.. IF THE BIKE FALLS DOWN MIRRORS WILL PROTECT THE TANK FROM DAMAGE AND THE LONG HANDLEBAR DOES SOME PROTECTION DUTIES 🤣 I HAVE MANY EXPERIENCES

Bike rattles

the bike is comfortable but sixth gear is missing and front look is not so gorgeous in compare to R15. Not a good choice in its price range. service centres are also not sufficient to sort out any minor issue. the wisor of this bike rattles after some years use. Yamaha should arrange to make availability of good service centres with expert mechanic in small cities. MIleage is also not as par of said guidelines.

Excellent torque

Very nice performance of the bike.Excellent torque in 2nd gear.Good for touring with a mileage of 33-37 kmpl.Never got disappointed by any of its features and i wonder why on earth this bike flopped and discontinued.
