Royal Enfield Himalayan 650

The upcoming Himalayan 650 will be powered by the 648cc, air-/oil-cooled, parallel-twin engine producing 47.45PS and 52.3Nm found in the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650. The engine tuning will likely be different though. The suspension setup consists of an inverted fork and a monoshock (both likely to be adjustable) while braking duties will be taken care of by dual disc brakes at the front and a single rear disc brake.

The ADV gets a fairing attached to the fuel tank, a big windscreen and the TFT instrument console from the Himalayan 450, which comes with Bluetooth connectivity and Google Maps navigation. The rear section of the bike along with the split-seat setup looks similar to that of its 450cc sibling. The exhaust is a two to one setup and pretty upswept.

The Himalayan 650 is expected to be launched by mid-June 2025 and the price is likely to be Rs 20,000 more premium than the Rs 3,63,900 (ex-showroom) price tag of the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650. It will rival the likes of the Kawasaki Versys 650 and the Moto Morini X-Cape 650.
