Royal Enfield has reported a 42 per cent growth in sales in the month of April 2015 at 33,918 units compared to 23,818 units during the same month last year.
The Chennai-based company had sold 23,818 units during the same month last year. Exports grew 25 per cent to 800 units from 638 units in April 2014.
Overall, in the period from January to April 2015, total business grew to 1,26,762 units from 88,086 units. Domestic sales in the same period rose by 44 per cent to 1,23,620 units from 85,998 units, while exports rose by 50 per cent to 3,142 units from 2,088 units.
