Nissan seems to be in a mood to enthrall car enthusiasts at the Sao Paulo Motor Show that is scheduled to take place in Brazil later this month. Not much is known about the concept, but the teaser image suggests that it could be a crossover or an SUV.
The new concept seems to feature a V-shaped grille that is flanked by distinctive headlights and Nissan badging. The model also appears to have a sculpted hood, as well as bulging fenders, roof rails and large off-road tyres - signatures of the latest evolution of the Japanese carmaker’s modern SUV design language.
The concept looks similar in size to the Nissan Juke, suggesting Nissan may be considering a more utilitarian and capable sub-compact model to complement its urban-focused, style-centric crossover model.
The Japanese carmaker hasn’t revealed any further details on its forthcoming model. The mysterious show car will be revealed two years after Nissan unleashed the Extrem concept at the 2012 Sao Paulo show.
