Maruti Suzuki Cars Get More Affordable By Rs 5000

• The price slash is aimed at reviving demand in the ailing automotive sector.
• Alto, Swift diesel, Celerio, Baleno diesel, Vitara Brezza are some of the models to receive the price cut.
• The new prices will be applicable from today.

Maruti Suzuki has slashed the prices of around 10 models in India by Rs 5,000 starting today. The price reduction comes as an attempt to boost sales amidst the ailing phase the automotive industry is going through. The price cut is made possible due to the government's recent reduction of corporate tax. Here are the list of models that are subject to the price cut:

All prices ex-showroom, Delhi
*ex-showroom, Mumbai

The revised pricing will reflect from today and will be applicable on the ex-showroom price. All the variants of the abovementioned 10 models will also receive the price cut. Existing Maruti Suzuki offers and promotions will be unaffected. 

Maruti has also revised the prices of Nexa models like the Baleno, Ignis and the S-Cross. While few models are missing from the price cut, Maruti Suzuki has done a commendable job to alleviate the current dire situation by being the first manufacturer to pass on the benefits of the corporate tax reduction to the consumers.
