Land Rover Off-Road Experience Tour Comes To Chennai In February

Not everyone who buys a capable SUV is an off-road enthusiast. Sadly, some of the most capable cars on the planet just end up doing school/office runs. To make its customers realise the true potential of their SUVs, Land Rover will be organising an off-road experience drive in Chennai. This event will take place from February 3 to 5, which will be a weekend to facilitate maximum participation. 

In this event, owners get to tackle a tricky off-road course in their vehicles in a bid to understand how capable their SUVs really are. Apart from that, the Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque will also be available for customers to have an experience around the course. The venue for the event will be - The Farm, 1/277, Semancheri Village, Old Mahabalipuram Road, Chennai. 

Land Rover has been organising these events all over India since 2013. The Land Rover Experience Tour kicked off in Kochi, after which it was followed by Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Ludhiana and Aamby Valley in Maharashtra. 

Speaking about the event, Rohit Suri, president, Jaguar Land Rover India Ltd (JLRIL), said, “We are delighted with the response of our customers to such events who are amazed by the capability of Land Rover cars showcased as a part of the drive experience.”

Not only JLR but other manufacturers like Toyota, Tata and many others also conduct similar off-road experience for their customers, in order to let them push their SUVs on some tricky off-road sections which they would normally avoid. 

Range Rover currently has four cars in India. The baby Rover, the Range Rover Evoque, starts from Rs 49.10 lakh, followed by the New Discovery Sport which is priced at Rs 47.59 lakh. Being a CBU, the Range Rover Sport crosses the Rs 1 crore mark and starts from Rs 1.17 crore, and the flagship Range Rover costs at least Rs 2.13 crore. All prices ex-showroom, Delhi.
