Honda Hikes Prices of 2018 Amaze, City, BR-V and WR-V

Some made-in-India Honda range of cars are now more expensive, including the City, WR-V and BR-V

Honda has increased the prices of most of its cars manufactured in India stating higher input costs. The CR-V is not part of this price increase since it is a CBU (completely built unit) import.

Honda Amaze - Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000 more, ex-showroom Delhi

The Amaze tops this list, being the most popular car that Honda India currently sells. Launched in May 2018, the Amaze’s introductory prices have not seen too much of a jump. Except for the base E variants which are Rs 20,000 more expensive, the rest of variants will cost Rs 10,000 more, ex-showroom Delhi.

The base variants of the Amaze cost more than the Maruti Suzuki Dzire’s - Rs 24,000 and Rs 34,000 more for the petrol and diesel variants respectively. Meanwhile, the top-of-the-line variants of the Amaze are priced at Rs 28,000 less and Rs 18,000 less than the Maruti Suzuki Dzire.

2018 Honda Jazz - No change - was launched on 17 July 2018. Priced from Rs 7.35 lakh to Rs 9.29 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi
