Bonneville Speed Week 2014, originally scheduled for August 22-25, 2014 has been postponed to merge with the World Finals from September 27-October 3, 2014.
The Speed Week was cancelled due to heavy rain, which inundated the course at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah. Now, the Speed Week will be merged with the World Finals which will be expanded to one full week of racing.
Technically, the event will begin on September 26, 2014 when pits will open up for set up and for technical inspection and registration. Saturday, September 27, 2014 will have Course Stewards meeting, drivers meeting and rookie orientation.
Record runs will begin from Sunday, September 28 till Thursday, October 2. Final record runs and time announcements will take place on Friday, October 3.
