2010 will be the year when Maruti-Suzuki steps up its game to a higher level with the launch of the Kizashi - the Indo-Jap JV's first venture into the executive sedan segment in India.

Internationally, the only engine to be offered in the Kizashi when it launches will be a 2.4-litre petrol, but it?s likely that Maruti-Suzuki will plonk the 1.9 MultiJet diesel when it comes here. The Kizashi has already received rather rave reviews abroad and will go head-to-head with cars like the Honda City and the Toyota Corolla.
