The Kia Carnival gets 2 monotone hues for its body and 2 dual-tone for its interiors.
It is available in two variants: Limousine and Limousine Plus.
Body colours are standard for both, interior colours are variant-specific.
It is set to be launched on October 3, 2024.
Prices are yet to be announced, pre-bookings are underway.
Kia is set to launch the fourth generation Carnival on our shores on October 3, 2024. The Korean carmaker has already revealed it in full and will announce the prices on the launch day. The 2024 Carnival will be offered only in a 7-seat layout option and in two variants: Limousine and Limousine Plus.
Before we see it in full flesh, let us take you through all the colour options that are available with it:
The Kia Carnival has a classy and elegant design language globally and the same has been followed here in India. Considering this is a family MPV, there won’t be any fights for picking the perfect colour because the premium MPV gets decorated in a monochromatic colour palette on our shores with just two shades to choose from. Take a look:
This deep dark shade of black is done differently from the Aurora Black shade of the old Carnival. It is sure to provide a more dominant look to the car.
No colour palette is complete without the white hue. If you are looking for a soothing and elegant colour, this shade is sure to suit your taste. This colour has been carried forward from the previous generation of the MPV.
The Kia Carnival has its premium-ness implemented in the interior with plentiful features and dual-tone upholstery. However, you can rest your mind in this case as the options are variant-specific. If you’ve finalised that, you get the colour that comes along. Let us take a look at the options.
The base-spec Limousine variant gets Misty Grey coloured upholstery contrasted with the Navy Blue hue. It makes the interior look calm and spacious and is a unique colour combination that isn’t seen on many vehicles.
The top-spec Limousine Plus has a more premium look inside with the upholstery done in the Brown and Black shade. If you like darker shades, this will impress you, not to mention, it’ll be easier to maintain and keep grime-free over the years.
The 2024 Kia Carnival is packed with amenities like a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display with wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, dual sunroof, ventilated front and second-row seats, a 12-way powered driver seat, 8-way power front passenger seat, automatic climate control, wireless phone charger, head-up display, push-button start and a 12-speaker Bose sound system.
The safety suite of the 2024 Carnival comprises 8 airbags, ABS with EBD, hill assist, electronic stability control, ISOFIX, a 360-degree camera with blind view monitor, front, rear and side parking sensors and level 2 ADAS features.
The 2024 Kia Carnival comes with a single-engine option: a 2.2-litre diesel engine that delivers 193 PS and 441 Nm. It is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission that transfers power to the front wheels only.
Kia India is yet to announce the prices of the Carnival on October 3, 2024. It already has garnered 1,822 bookings on day 1 of pre-launch reservations. The upcoming Carnival will lock horns with the Toyota Innova Hycross and Maruti Suzuki Invicto as a more premium alternative.
